About this Event

Celebrate with us the release of our first recording of works for choir, piano and percussion with classical label Delphian.

Our musical director Hilary Campbell will be joined by Judith Weir, Master of the Queen’s music and composer of the disc’s title piece ‘The Big Picture’. You’ll be able to hear extracts from the album, which includes music by Weir, McDowall and Chilcott, and interviews with composers and performers.

The event ticket price includes a copy of the CD, which was recorded in January 2020 at St George’s, Bristol.

CD Details

CDs will be posted to ticket holders on purchase of tickets and therefore this event is non-refundable. The CD is being released on 25th September. Any ticket holders who purchase their ticket before this date will receive their CD on or shortly after the release date.

Further copies of the CD will be available to buy shortly from our website, bristolchoral.co.uk.

The event will start at 8pm and will last for approximately one hour, but you’ll be able to login from 7.30pm.

How to join the event

We’ll be hosting the evening online using the web video conferencing platform Zoom. Once you have bought your ticket you will be given access to the Event Page where you will find details of how to join the event.

You don’t need to install Zoom on your device in order to join, but you may have a better experience if you do. You can download and install the application from Zoom’s website here: https://zoom.us/download

You can use a laptop, tablet or phone to join, but for the best experience we’d suggest avoiding using a phone if you can. We also recommend using wired headphones for the optimal audio experience.

Refund policy

As we will be posting physical copies of the CD to ticket holders when they purchase their ticket we’re unable to offer refunds for this event.
