The Choir

Bristol Choral Society has a long tradition of high musical standards and has an auditioned membership of 180 mixed voices. The choir take their singing seriously, but there is a great deal of humour and a lot of fun to be had by belonging to BCS.  Lasting friendships are frequently made and the choir warmly welcomes new members to audition.

The choir performs a wide and exciting repertoire of choral works.  Each year they give at least four major concerts, either at the Colston Hall in Bristol, or Bristol Cathedral. The choir also hold their annual Come & Sing event in February.  Members of the public are warmly invited to join us and experience singing with our conductor Adrian Partington.

Bristol Choral Society take pride in their musical contribution to the Bristol music scene and are committed to their Community Outreach activities with young singers in Bristol schools.
