Our last two family-friendly Christmas concerts have been a great success - and there's no point in changing a winning recipe; so take 120 children from four of the city's primary schools, add a large dash of Bristol Brass Consort, some flavouring from harpist Eluned Pierce, a small pinch of drumming and a generous helping of Bristol Choral Society. Stir together, mix well and finally add some audience participation - and Eureka! - we invite you to come and enjoy this rich Christmas pudding of a concert!
The generosity of the Foyle Foundation, the Garfield Weston Foundation and the Quartet Community Foundation has made it possible for us to sing with professional musicians and - as part of our outreach programme - for professional trainers to make 10 visits to each school, assisted by choir members, to support teachers in preparing their children for this concert.
It also means that adult tickets can be priced at just £5 and all children under 16 go FREE!! This concert is staged in collaboration with Multi A and we are grateful for their support.
